My name is Matthew, but we’re friends now, so you can just call me Matt.
I am a public relations professional by day, sharing the incredible stories of Franklin, Tenn., and a photographer covering the sports and entertainment scenes around Nashville by night.
Outside of work I am a proud husband and father.
After first meeting my wife Ashley in the sixth grade, it only took me 16 years to convince her to marry me. We have had some great adventures together, enjoy attending sporting events, exploring a good festival (who doesn’t like a National Banana Pudding festival!), road trips and now raising a daughter together. Hopefully, she can grow to be half the quarterback her mother is!
I am also an avid golfer…
…and three-time half marathon runner. However, I’m also a three-time knee surgery veteran. While I should probably stick to the 5Ks, I’m just stubborn enough to keep miles 13.1 at a time until I physically can’t anymore.
I also enjoy trying my hand at woodworking projects, quoting the West Wing far more than necessary and shamelessly rooting for my alma mater, The University of Tennessee at Martin, at all times. #FearTheSkyhawk
